Could the X-terra Pro be a disguised twin frequency

That is all he is allotted for the volume that he sells and he is a multi-line dealer.

Could the X-terra Pro be a disguised twin frequency

Guys have found the Manticore at Bass Pro and Cabellas. My dealer said it is normal for the big box stores to get stock before the dealers. He is expecting 15 X-Terra pros by the end of next week.

    New X-Terra Pro Features

If I read right, there was little mentioned about the 5kHz frequency. I remember when the "Digger" coil was the rage for the X-Terra, funny, the Fisher 1265 & 1266 were killer at 4.8 kHz depth wise.

    XTerra Pro price

Yea, one thing it will be a $100-$150 machine when sold used, if that!

    Shaft needed.

Wow! Hope you got it for a good price, unless someone has the whole shaft with a dead head to sell, good luck! You have several options depending on the $$$ you want to spend, all under $200. https://www.seriousdetecting.com/product/minelab-upper-shaft-assembly-for-the-x-terra-series-red/...

    New X-Terra Pro Features

Yea, me too! Got a good dealer that's one of Minelabs top sellers keeping me up on it. For the price point, can't not get one. I'll sell a couple of surplus X-Terra's that I have in my collection.

    New X-Terra Pro Features

Looks like a bunch of coil choices also! Still not on the Minelab site. Nothing mentioned in the specs yet on ground balance or tracking option. https://www.detectorprospector.com/metal-detector-database/minelab-x-terra-pro-r159/

    New to me 705 questions

Try the factory reset 1st, it should run fairly quiet at 28 with any coil on it. If you have not got Diggers X-Terra book, you can download it in PDF. https://www.minelab.com/__files/f/258668/Understanding%20your%20X-TERRA%20A4%20size.pdf

Anyone Still Using The 70 or 705?

Got word from a trusted dealer, the X-Terra Pro will MAP at sub $400 to compete with the Simplex.

    X-Terra Pro

Log as I can run it in 2 tone all metal, I'll give it a shot. Someone told me that I could set up the Nox like a X-Terra and I tried, well, I sold the Nox! Just wonder if it has auto trac on it?
  15. morelic1955

    X-Terra Pro

Got that right! I will still keep a 70 and 705 in reserve if the new one drives me nuts, LOL!!!!
  16. morelic1955

    X-Terra Pro

I do wish they would of stayed with the original frequencies 3, 7.5 and 18.75 kHz, not just giving it 5, 10 & 15kHz.
  17. morelic1955

    X-Terra Pro

That's the point! We need new life in this forum, especially head to head comparisons with the 70 and 705!

    X-Terra Pro

I was told the price will be in the Sub $400 range, not what is shown on the videos.

    X-Terra Pro

Have gained info from a reliable source that Minelab is indeed going to release this product to compete with the Simplex. Don't know the other details, just coming this year.

    X-Terra Pro

Yea, I call BS on this, and from the propaganda I've seen it has completely different frequencies.
