    5x10 Coiltek Coil Test

I think the Pro will be a hot detector with smaller coils in iron. I did a nail test with a pistol bullet and a cuff button and it passed with flying colors! I think the Nox 6" coil would do even better!! We have had 6" of rain in the last 24 hours here, hope it's not too soggy to get out this...

Don't know yet, that's a question for ML customer service.

    Headphones For The X-Terra Pro

I'm a little old school and cant stand the wireless phones after having tried them with the Nox that I tried, I'm going with the Grey Ghost and the Rattlers since they come with the correct plugin. The ML wireless M85 still look like they will slip off my big noggin! LOL Besides, one one has...

Wondering if lower rod is unique

They look different, the Pro has little edges on the end to center it in the square tube. A Nox lower rod works, but you would have to tape it in place to keep it from rotating, that's what I'm going to do for my 5x10 Coiltek.

Ist Take on the X-Terra Pro

Forgot to mention, I was in Field 2. Also 5kHz does seem to be smoother sounding on silver.

Ist Take on the X-Terra Pro

It's raining here, so I tested it out in my garage. Concrete, no rebar in the floor. Setup, easy. I hunt relics so mine is simple. 2 tones, tracking on, recovery speed 2, I like to hear the iron, so FE volume is set just a hair below regular volume. Set the tone break at 0 to try it out 1st when...

    Felt Like A Kid Again

Because smaller, high volume dealers that don't have big websites get them 1st. My dealer sells enough locally that he is a top Minelab dealer. He only received 8 Pros on his 1st shipment. I got mine, 1st last night, bet they are all gone by now!

    Felt Like A Kid Again

I find it funny that it took less time For Minelab to deliver the X-Terra Pro to the dealers than the Manticore!

    Release date? ? ?

I don't know, I will do side by side testing with my X-Terra 70 and 705. My dealer said next week for 8 of them shipped.

OAK Island... the great one found an ook, by god man he found a bloody ook... hehehee

If they really wanted to cover that Island, they would bring in more detectors and people that really know how to hunt!

Could the X-terra Pro be a disguised twin frequency

I use a 18.75kHz 10.5 DD Have used that coil along with the 5x10 HF coil in heavy nails/iron.

Could the X-terra Pro be a disguised twin frequency

I could not care if the Pro is like the other machines. I'm comparing it to the X-Terra 70 and 705. Not here to argue about similarities. I had the Nox 800 and hated it. Besides the old X-Terra series, in my hands will out hunt anything I've ever had, Period! Spend the $269, buy one like I am...

Could the X-terra Pro be a disguised twin frequency

I can tell from just the manual that is is more than a "Baby Nox".
