    Small pocket spill....:minelab:

    Its good to see the rain finally stoped. my first hit a small pocket spill 1909- barber dime and 1910- 1912 wheats. about ten feet away 1947 roose. and now for my mystery coin. it looks like silver, its heavy like silver,and sounds like silver. if anyone knows anything about this coin please let...

    Weekend digs....:minelab:

    :detecting:Went to another park today W.P. was just to busy for me. first find thought it was a deep indian head ended up to be 10k gold plated ring. then got a deep signal very short, about 9 inches down 1937- merc. the parks arent giveing up much.:detecting:

    After three days of straight rain the park looks like a swamp, the grass is high very hard to swing the coil. but did get one merc. two wheats and a button.:detecting:

    Silver ring...:minelab:

    Got out a littel late this morning do to rain, but it did clear for a while. back to that old tree were i got the two mercs. got a nice signal - 0029-0030 i said hear comes my silver quater, but ended up being a silver ring. also 4-wheats then it started to rain ,so i ended the day.:detecting:

    Well after 6+inches of rain last weekend. we were able to get back out, moveing around this old tree the pull tabs were so bad it was killing my ears. but by going slow i was able to find two mercs. then moved to another tree got another merc. then went back the play ground area and, got this...

    Mystery coin turns out to be, two cent piece.:minelab:

    When i dug this coin the couragin was so bad i couldent even tell what it was. after a hot peroxide bath it took off some, but still in bad shape. i can see the shield, but cant see the date. ill keep working on it. also a 1943 merc. and four wheats:cool:

    Saturday morning. two mercs..:minelab:

    Got out early this morning before the rain hits. my first coin was a 1930-S put a small seratch on the back with my hand digger.:rage: man the ground is so hard, and dry. then got another nice signal. 1941 merc. we do need some rain to soften up the ground.:detecting:

    Went to W.P. park today with a hunting partner. searching the play ground area. i love this spot i found a lot of silver hear in the past. the dime was about 10-11 inches deep. and, too wheat penneys.:detecting:

    Mineralized rock.. no its silver.

    :detecting:back to the same spot i was yesterday i get this signal sounds like mineralized rock. but also sounds like silver. the way i check this kind of signal is to switch out of smart find into the numbers. if its reading 0031 its mineralized rock. i have found matchbox cars at this...

    Veary hot today one silver and V nick.

    :detecting:Back to L.P. park today could only take two hours of searching just to hot for me. 1952 -D roose. a badly worn 1896. V nickel and four beat wheats also looks to be a small cal. musket ball. not to bad.

    1910-d barber quarter

    searching my fav. park on a hill got this deep signel mix with trash but going slow i could hear the high spiking i new it was something good. dug down about 8 inchs in the side of hole poped out this 1910-d barber quarter. worn but still a good find.
