    Got word yesterday that my 11 inch Deus 2 coil has finally shipped. I know a lot of others here have been waiting for their second coil for the D2 and sounds like merchandise is moving!

    Mine came a few bucks more with the mil discount with the added state sales tax but I’m grateful that at least one vendor is honoring the military discount Minelab offers. I think I was given a load of bs from another vendor that said no discounts until back orders are filled. I think I’m done...

    XP Deus price

    Tough sell right now isn’t it? I’m considering selling mine now as well . Have the x35 9 and 11 coils as well as the hf 9. Just purchased it all 1 year ago. I’ll feel happy to get 600 on a cash local face to face sale. It’s a hit but I don’t think the market will support more than that.

    All well and good but I’ve had two vendors tell me it doesn’t apply at this time. In fairness I haven’t been searching real hard for vendors that might offer it.

    Deepest program for XP deus 2

    For my ground (typically reads 87) I use a modified park program. I use 2 or 2.5 reactivity. Dimes at 8 inches are not uncommon. I've lately been bonding with the xy screen and am really liking it! Takes me back to my old Whites V3i and polar plot.

    Comments make me glad I chose the 9 inch as parks are what I primarily hunt. I think Targits might be right about XP being on holiday. The company I worked for had a partnership with a company in Spain and august was a holiday. The EU way I believe I still want the 11 inch

    For what ever reason I didn't have that experience. Came back from Vietnam/Air Force and was treated very well. I know that wasn't always the case

    Sonar? Sonar? I use park for my base for hunting. Mental Metal guided me with a program mod that works real well for my style and conditions.

    Still… Even though I have a couple complaints I hate to sound like I’m wining! The D2 for me out performs and other detector I’ve ever used. Including the Nox 800 I don’t seem to have any problem with the RC staying in place.

    Probably the same dealer I asked. I told him I thought it was a discount offered directly from the manufacturer but he said the manufacturer compensates the dealer “some” but until back orders are all met no discounts. Just a Vietnam vet looking for any discount I can get. I can wait.

    No availability on the coils is my biggest bitch. And the inconsistent connection between the pin pointer and headphones. Don't have that problem with the D1. Is it the remote or headphones? I wish they'd fix it. Great machine though!
