    Can't they put a clock on the Equinox 600 & 800

It would have to remain on all the time to keep time, so you would have a lot of dead batteries.

    Equinox water hunters, must see

He is real positive on Minelab in general and the Nox specifically. I would agree with him. Most people in these forums use their detectors very regularly, (i.e. weekly) while most purchasers will use it for a few times then put it in the closet. Same with SCUBA gear, always easy to buy...

    Equinox water hunters, must see

As long as they replace them, no problem. I sold my 600 & 800 after the warranty ran out, and bough a new 600. I got 70% of my original purchase price on the old detectors.

One Bar Left On Battery Indicator Question

I recommend you buy a little battery backup for less than $10 and wrap it around the handle while you hunt

    Bright shiny pennies

Similar deal for me, I was asking for some halves, and the guy said, hey, I also have a roll of the big silver dollars here. I bought it and discovered 4 Morgans and one Peace dollar in the roll. Now, I have never had that happen. Nothing in the $150.00 of halves though

Travelling to Florida looking for info

Lots of hunters hit the beaches so minimal targets usually. Look for cuts but you need to be early in the morning!

    First Seated Quarter

Great coin! Looks like 20+ years of circulation wear on it so probably dropped in 1880's-90's

    Your Nox Beach Settings?

I used my 15 inch Coiltek at the beach last month, and I was picking up amazing tiny pieces such as shoe lace eyelets, the little aluminum band that closes ice bags etc. no jewelry though. I figure I'll pick up an erring backing with that kind of fidelity.

    This ever happen to you?

Happens all the time here in Germanybecause of all the iron scraps in the ground. When you click over to pinpoint it tries to find the center of the multiple targets under the coil. I usually don't switch over. Other item that is and to pinpoint is a piece of copper wire

Third gold this week two 17 century silvers, and to top it all off, my first Roman coin! All in the same field 2 day hunt

Wow, what a week! After the 2 18kt rings on Sunday, I searched a old farm field south of Munich on Friday, and then went back on Saturday. I went to the back of a farm field Ive searched a few times after an hour in the from with nothing. Hit the 1713 small silver, an then started hitting...
