    I’ve been using the 800 since 2019 and it has really impressed me with finds I have made with it. I have only found two pieces of gold with it so far, but I do not beach hunt much other than about once a year…. It does well on nickels though.

    Just a few less bells and whistles than the 800 which I have, but probably just as good from what I have seen with my friend using one. And I think they are lower in price than when they first came out..you could buy an extra coil and make it very versatile for not a lot of money.

    I believe you can just pair the earbuds without effecting the wireless headphones. I know two pair of headphones can be paired at the same time on the Equinox.     Yes… I have concerns about it leaking after others had issues…I was told by a dealer that mine is about on the line of where they supposedly remedied the problem with leaks, but since I am not sure, other than submerging the coil, It does not go underwater.     Nice finds there…. I’ve been using the XTerra Pro since last December, and have been doing quite well with it on land and lately in lakes and rivers. Have not tried it at the beach yet, but plan to later on this year.

    As far as increase in performance, I can’t really say as I was happy with how mine was doing before the updates… updating did not seem to have any negative effects on it.
