    YEP, lots of guys feel like you, problems ,problems :thumbdown:.Well ,at 83 I found a pristine AT-PRO from the east coast and that's all I need. The owner was 86 and used it one time. Looks like it had the kellyco sticker still on it.What a break on this detector!

    Hmmm,this old timer have seen alot of water detectors.There are several that stand out and they were all made by WHITES.There are some of them still out there.You take your time and search for them they are still out there.Do a search on the internet for them and check out the models...

I got the pristine AT PRO detector in super shape looks like the buyer who was 86 did not use it?However its a 3 pounder so I shorten the rod and it help...
