    Difference the Remote makes in the Deus

    You are looking at what is called the "Deus Light ". The remote is what is used to up-date and program the WS-4s and it also dose most of the special features of the Deus 1. Right now, you should be able to find a complete used set-up with remote and extra coils for not a lot more.

    The bone conducting headphones (BH01) might be a choice. Also, the Deus2 has an equalizer in it that you can adjust the tones to match your hearing levels.

    I guess I'm the lucky one. My dealer received two, a 9" & 11". I was second on the list and wanted the 9" but number one said they wanted it. Got a call when they were delivered and the #1 guy backed out and I got the 9". I don't know how the 11" will work in my sites, but I'll still be picking...

    In my 11 years of the Deus1 and now the Deus2. I've never had my controller come off unless I wanted it to. But with that said, I will use the tether.

    I don't think everything is in there, but most of the important adjustments and I understand there are slots to save programs. I haven't looked into any of this yet though.

    I would work on repairing them myself. It doesn't sound like a tough repair. And then would give the Ebay seller a scathing review on not standing behind a purchase.

    Can we get a picture of the back and a location of any possible break points?? I'm thinking the size and shape it might be a buckle cover for horse tack.

    The remote volume on My Deus II straight out of the box was pretty low and hard to hear. I had to turn it up. Something you could NOT do on the Deus I. Could this be something that Markrex did not know he could adjust?

    Well BP Your beat sight looks better than mine. I did the same as you set it in general and hit part of my yard that I've been over with the DEUS I for the last 10 years. Pulled good targets for there that I'm amazed that I had missed. Can't wait until I get this new machine dialed...

    If your WS4 puck will work on any of the aftermarket headphones, then the WS6 puck will work. I use the DETEKNIX DHDWS4 headphones and they work great. My WS6 puck fits and works great.
