Loss Of Depth In Fertilized Farm Fields ?

I agree. I remember visiting a farm of a friend. And walking around found a pile of herbicide bags and read the skull and cross bones warnings: pretty much sounded like agent orange. And yes they did have skull and cross bones symbols before the warning verbage. Kind of cary that we are eating...

Minelab Pro-Swing 45 Harness best harness for cox 3030?

I used one for 3 months. I prefer Doc's Swingy Thing swing harness. about $50, much more comfortable then the Minelab Pro-Swing 45. And less expensive.

Is Metal Detecting on the Decline?

I think it is only fair that you carry with you some Rosies and Wheats and plant them for detectorists who follow you.

Question! Is the E-Trac really the best coin detector?

Etrac and CTX3030 are superb coin machines. But you will have to deal with the weight. I could not hunt more than 10-20 min without a very good swing harness Doc's Swingy Thing harnes.

    Super modified CTX?

I have used the detector pro slip over the shoulder swing harness, the Minelab Pro swing 45 harness and Doc's Swingy Thing harness. The detector pro slip over shoulder is too flimsy for the CTS and the Minelab Pro Swing 45 is way too bulk, difficult if not impossible to put in a back pack. Doc's...

hunting rings with CTX or eTrac

hunting rings with CTX or eTrac

I have tried to replicate this on my Etrac. the above was wrong. I don't even have an Etrac, but a CTX3030. Brain Fa*t.

True wireless headphones for the CTX? Maybe Z-Lynk?

I clip the wm10 on my Doc's Swingy Thing harness (love it) near my left shoulder and have a small 6" coiled cord to plug to my Trond earphones and the WM10. Not bad at all and don't have any cord down to my waist.

hunting rings with CTX or eTrac

I have tried to replicate this on my Etrac. Set up a mode with an open pattern with using Separation: Ferrous coins using 50 tone audio. Then set up another mode with open program 50 tones and separation: High Trash. swinging over clad dime with both modes and same tone. swinging over silver...

Question! Is the E-Trac really the best coin detector?

Some have sold their eTracs and CTXs only to find their new Nox 800 is quite a challenge. A great machine and will find small gold really good. But still kind of hard to tame hunting trashy parks. Had the nox for 3 years and now use the CTX with Doc's swingy thing harness which is much better...

hunting rings with CTX or eTrac

Clive said he uses Desantos Beach program for rings. It is on Clive's webs site at the bottom of the page http://www.clivesgoldpage.com/ctx-3030-programs/ I have not tried it but it makes sense. I also read somewhere that you select out maybe one or two squares on your sample of pull tabs and...

hunting rings with CTX or eTrac

This is to you guys with CTX experience. I am giving up hunting Civil War relics for a while and concentrating on finding rings in tot-lots, volleyball courts and old baseball fields. Of course I will take any silver I find, but I am really after rings. Any hints, suggestions on determining...

Minelab Pro Swing 45 - bulky, uncomfortable, stiff, hard to transport. $230 detector pro. not expensive but not bad. - $30 Doc's Swingy thing harness. - very well made, comfortable, great bungie cord arrangement. Nice metal clips with two on front for your belt, and one on the back. A real...

    New deus 2 problem

Isn't it weird they cannot make shows like Sandford & Son or All in the Family now? Everyone was walking on political correct egg shells now at the studios.

Today I witnessed a MAGIC show

Glad you are improving Elmy. I take it very seriously. Have seen a few close friends get hit really bad and long stays in the hospital. You just never know how it will effect a person. My wife's younger sister works in critical care in a major hospital in Atlanta and her stories convince me to...

New to the CTX3030 and it is paying off

try the manual noise cancel. If that fails then take the CTX3030 away from your home to a park and bury the two items and try there. Make sure your coil connections are finger tight.

New to the CTX3030 and it is paying off

I have been hunting this particular area for six years, 3 with the AT Pro and 3 with Nox 800. It is an old home site dating back before the civil war. Went out yesterday and got a squeaker of a signal that was 01-28. So just out of curiosity I dug it. Found the old metal stirrup, iron stove...
