AT PRO scores silver #30 for the season

But the find of the day was my hunting partners 1864L Indian head penny, a little tough to spot the L in the picture but it is there. I think it's time for a better camera any suggestions?? HH Butch NY.

    Awesome weekend finds

Had a great weekend, the AT PRO keeps impressing me every time out. Check out the last merc looks like a 1921, what do you think?? also the very roached 2nd picture is an 1857 flying eagle penny. Wish it was in better shape. Enjoy. HH Butch NY

Fresh out of the ground... :garrett: rocks

I finally got a chance to get out a little this weekend. Work has been busy and the weather, lousy. It was nice to get back to my happy place digging in the dirt.

It's almost to easy with the AT Pro...

I got out for a short hunt after work today and found a couple more keepers. Enjoy..

    AT Pro strikes again

This machine is amazing. At this point I'm still just hunting sites I've pounded before with other machines, and the ATP is finding coins either deeper than I was able to reach before or sniffing them out in heavy, heavy trash. Garrett is going to have a hard time topping the AT Pro. Enjoy. HH...

Out of the parks and into the woods.

Spent the last few hunts in a couple of my favorite patches of woods that have produced in the past. All the coins were found at 6 inches or less. There not in the best of shape, but there old. Enjoy. HH Butch NY.

    More AT PRO silver

The last few hunts I spent at a park where the good stuff is real deep 8+ inches. I wanted to test the depth capabilities of the AT Pro. Well it passed with flying colors. All I was digging were the very faint repeatable high tones. All the coins I found were well over 8 inches. Along with the...

    Short hunt

Hi all. I ended up working most of the weekend and only managed to sneak out for a bit late Sunday afternoon. I was able to find six wheaties, a 1925 buffalo nickel and a 1901 barber quarter. All these coins were found in a heavily hunted park, in a very trashy area. This machine is very...

2 for 2 with the AT PRO

Let me start by saying, I love the fact that this machine is waterproof. No more staring out the window on those rainy days. I went back to the same area as yesterday to find some more huntable ground. Set the machine up the same pro mode, zero disc, sensitivity one notch below max. Not the best...

    AT PRO First Outing

I found a little patch of thawed ground at one of my favorite parks today so I had to give the new addition a try. I hunted in the pro mode with zero disc. Ground balanced at 85 and sensitivity one step below max. The AT PRO ran very stable and quiet. I was able to find a bunch of clad and a few...

    Heading South

Hi all, I'm heading down to Georgia later this month to watch my son graduate from basic training. I want to do a little prospecting while I'm there, panning plus with a detector. I was curious if anyone might be able to point me in the direction of any public facilities where you pay a fee for...

    First silver of 2007

Hi All, hope everyones holiday season was great. Added a new coil to the treasure hunting arsenal, a 15" WOT. Had a chance to give it a try today. I was able to manage a couple keepers. The barber dime was around the 10" mark, with a very good signal. The silver nickel was close to 8" and the...
