    What happened to Tesoro?

Never been to your country but have visited Florida several times. The beach hunting is great if you can beat the other guys. Metal detectors are common there. The waters edge and high tide lines are the place to search. Also parking lots where people change clothes.

Well after beach hunting for 14 years I finally found one!!!!

Good conversation piece, for sure. Not worth restoring as it's fire damaged there for unsafe.

Too bad. I have had 2 whites and 2 Tesoro detectors. loved them both but as I aged the Tesoro was lighter and handier. Boo Hoo.

Old yacht club gives up lots of old silver coins!

Once just out side a city park, between the sidewalk & the curb I found I had a strong signal. In the hole I dug was about a foot around & a foot deep. I dug 174 coins out. None were old, just cents, nickles dimes * 2 quarters.

Bought my first detector in 1968 from an old miner here in the Sierra foothills. It was a Fisher M-scope. Cost 90 bucks. Found a lot since then, Still have it and it still works, I guess that makes 55 years.
