    I've hit a brick wall.......

    This is all I've found in over a month? Been hunting fairly regular, thru all the fires and smoke, 3 privates (2 over 100+ yrs old), some re-hunts, the usual public spots, etc. To make it worse this also includes a trip to Idaho and today I chased a tearout rumor that didn't pan out and ended...

    One Injun saved the hunt.....

    hunted a REAL TRASHY place today, maybe the worst I've ever seen so far? Managed this stuff and somehow lucked out on this Indian amongst all the crap. Couldn't hardly get any depth anywhere and doubt I'll return.......... Funny how one decent coin can turn things around tho.....lol

    2 days in Idaho.......

    Got these today (thurs.). The Morgan came off some City property and the rest off the private I'm working on. This is only my second Morgan ever and I dinged her pretty good......ouch!

    Tues. & Wed. hunt(s)...S. Africa silver!

    Got this stuff on 2 separate hunts. The South Africa silver is a 1st for me and came from the old Hotel (1900's) right on Main in downtown Podunk along with the other foreign coin and only one wheat and some junk coins. The other 2 silvers and the rest came from a house (1905) that I scored...

    snooped around some cabins today....

    Took a drive up the river on a dirt road quite aways to a couple older cabins. Got this Merc and a wheat at one place plus some new crap coins and then hit another and hunted just the front steps area and popped the rosie and another wheat. Glad I dinged the rosie and not the merc....lol...

    Haven't been out much because of heat. these are from several short hunts including today (2 hrs) where I got 2 wheats and the merc. All the stuff came from the public ground......

    back to the schoolyard.....

    Went to the old schoolyard today to play around with the 6" eq2. Thought I'd chase some signals I normally pass on and dug some of this junk jewelry and I also chased some deep iffies and popped the wheats & Merc after 3.5hrs....... Supposed to get real hot so I may be sidelined for a few days?

    Weather broke today so the plan was to grab tector and head down the road to a small Burg about 37mi from the house and try and line up some privates to hunt next week? I ended up knocking on 5 doors today. First house is old and on several lots and looks good, so I knock and get the go...

    I noticed the other day that here in Podunk they'd ripped out the outfield fence at the "ol trashy ballpark" and turned up a little dirt in the process. So I loaded up the etrac and figured I'd hit it on my way back from the dump. It was a long shot but I scared up this nice Canadian dime...
