    7 more days with the equinox new user update

    I continue hunting 2 hours a day and I am hammering away... $59 in clad, 24 hunts with the nox 2 with the dfx... only taken 2 days off the last 2 weeks... Ok some more observations... pinpointing dead on.. just 2 silver coins.. but 6 rings now... 3 silver... and one silver pendant.. so 6 silver...

    How to and Pictures of repaired equinox coil.

    When I called Minelab a few tips they gave to avoid coil ear breakage.. the biggest issue they said has been... overtightened coils putting to much pressure on the coil ears.... I personally have had no issues yet... 20 hunts in with the nox... but read several posts... I asked them for a few...

    T2+ vs Equinox 800

    not able to compare the 2... but what I find with the Equinox is.. it's definitely a deep seeking detector... also at times it belts out deep signals! I can only compare it to the dfx, the explorer and a few others... But I agree on the separation... you can definitely still pick out good...

    Well I used to stay out 3 to 6 hours... now it seems 2 hours works well... especially if I want to get out at least 3 times a week.

    First time I have been able to get out in 5 days due to a return to cold and snow returning...and today pouring rain figured why not... Pouring rain... moved around area for about an hour and decided I would get out anyways in the heavy rain... Short hunt but did get a 43 merc... think I kissed...

    I always liked wheat cents.. and I remember 10 years ago kept digging ALL the cent signals with my dfx... unlike the equinox.. very easy to distinguish between wheaties and zincolns... I kept thinking keep digging those wheaties and you will hit a 1909 vdb... and I eventually did! No "S" but...
