    Finally Broke my Silver Drought

    Finally a 1908 Barber Dime after many months of a silver drought. I also scored a fairly nice 1888 Indian and I can just about read the Liberty on the head dress. Also, another Indian with a completely obliterated face but I can just make out the faint impression on the read.

    Bug Problems on Hunt

    In my last few hunts, I have been attacked by Mosquito's and other small bugs. Have been using Cutter Insect Repellent Wipes but they do not seem to work on these pests. Can anyone suggest so good insect repellent that can keep those pests away. thanks Chuck

    Today's Finds

    The temp. did not get above 32 today but I decided to get out for a couple of hours. Found a Harley Davidson Sterling Silver Ring, Small Silver Wire Ring with Stone, a French Centime 1913 (Surprise find for a Western Illinois Park!), and about a dollar in clad.
