    Wilson Detectors

I went by an estate sale this morning and bought 2 Wilson machines for 5.00 each. One is a Daytona model with a small coil. It is in better shape than the other, which has a big coil. These came from near Petersburg, and I'm sure they were used for relics. I need to have new 9v battery...

Around here in our rural churches, there are always a few that want to control everything. They forget that God is really the one in charge.

We thought our machines were BROKE !!!

This reminds me of a time when a friend and I went relic hunting at a farm. We had to cross an electric fence. I didn't think the fence was on. I touched it and said "see, it's not on". Then, it lit me up! I was used to the old fences that had constant current. That's when I learned about the...

Wrecked our relic hunt/ Getting Old Stinx

Relic hunting is probably the most "taxing" of any type of digging. I did it for many years. Don't think I could do that now. I have to dig in sand. Hope your back gets better and you are able to enjoy your hunts again!

    This got me excited

Found this in the water today. I thought I had something good! It turned out to be a Fitbit in a necklace case. I really don't even know what these things do.

    Anybody use a DetectorPro Pirate?

Not too long after I got the Pirate, it started acting crazy. I sent it back, and DetectorPro sent me a brand new replacement machine. Their service was top- notch!

    Anybody use a DetectorPro Pirate?

I have one that I bought years ago, while my Tiger Shark was off for repairs. I did well with it, but when the Tiger got back, I never used the Pirate Pro again. Been thinking about taking it out again.

    Nice Silver Ring

Took the Conquistador out for a while today, and found this 925 silver ring. Also found some junk earrings and a little change. Another fun hunt!

Any one ever used a garrett Ads ground hog

I used a groundhog back in the early 80's to relic hunt. It belonged to a friend. It did ok, if I remember correctly. Found a complete Parrot shell with it.

    Scoop Deal

Went in a flea market yesterday, and found this scoop for 10.00! It's time to retire my old, heavy homemade one, anyway.

    Tesoro Compadre...Deal?

My friend who has this will probably keep it, because his son has an interest in detecting. Since I have 3 Tesoros, I'm good to go.
