    V10X coils …. Availability????

When will the V10X coils be available??? This is the only reason I don’t purchase the Xterra pro. Stock coil is too big for my type of hunting. Come on Minelab !! Let’s hit this done !!!!

    minelabs bad decision on coils

I have to agree. 9” coils are the best for my type of hunting. 11” can have way too much under the coil at once. Lots of masking going on. The 9” coil keeps me moving along at a slower speed, but at a more precise swing to be sure not to miss targets. That’s one reason I don’t have a Xterra pro...

Any date on when the Simplex Ultra will be released in the USA???

Yes I know what you are saying about YouTubers. After 47 years in this hobby I can get a lot of information from what is in the video and filter out things that don’t really matter to me. I to detect mainly private property by door knocking. Homes , churches, etc. HH Tony

Any date on when the Simplex Ultra will be released in the USA???

I am looking for comparison videos by testers here in the USA. Actually a comparative video of the Simplex ultra and the Xterra pro would help many to determine which one is right for them. Particularly samples of all the audio capabilities. (Depth characteristics, modulation, deep targets...

    Tesoro no longer in business

Yes I had contacted them about some repairs on a fisher CZ . I left my phone number and email address. Said they would contact me. They said they were 3 months out. Haven’t heard back from them.

    Quest V80 unavailable in USA

Email dealers in the UK to let you know when they expect to have more. You might be able to get one that way.

    Wife got mad

Sounds like she needs a new detector 😃

The Deus 2 Remote clasp broke today

It’s the only flaw I have found with this XP product that needs to be changed.

    Fisher CZ's still the King

Yes that is what I figured. The only reason I tried it was it was a reasonable price. It’s funny they were fetching $800 plus and more than the flagship F75. I was able to make a good trade with it.

    Fisher CZ's still the King

Hey Ken , I had a CZ 5 that I bought new in 1993. To me it was deep! Easily hit silver targets 8-10 inches in the disc mode. What I noticed was as time went by the targets in my test garden were easier to hit. Probably due to a halo that seemed to increase over the years. I sold the CZ5 and now...

    Fisher CZ's still the King

It is what it is , the D2 Ws6 has replaced it . As deep or deeper, lighter, excellent finds. I am still a CZ fan !! 🇺🇸😃🇺🇸

    Fisher CZ's still the King

It’s much easier and efficient to access the pinpoint button mounted on the shaft. Really just how I prefer to operate a CZ. I no longer own a CZ after solely using one for 22 years. A CZ 5 and later I had the cz70 ,the cz5 was my go to detector.

    Which One

The Xterra pro fits my needs , very affordable!! It’s waterproof enough for fresh water lake hunting. I feel there’s still a need for selectable frequencies. I have a SMF detector for land hunting. The 705 and V440 are both great detectors. It’s what suits your needs.

    Fisher CZ's still the King

The cz5 can unmask co- located targets by using the pinpoint button. And using it a lot . Hip mounting makes this procedure more difficult. The housing needs to be on a he shaft to accomplish this. Since the Cz s coils are concentric the detection field is larger. Pinpointing button brings the...

    Question.

There would have to be a lot of shaking going on!!!! Plowing fields brings targets closer to the surface.

    Question.

I would think not, there are variables though that might factor into the equation. Probably just missing targets. Overlapping your sweep will help locate missed targets. Sometimes moisture in the ground will make targets more conductive, therefore easier to detect. Just some thoughts. HH Tony

If Fisher would make a modern High end coin / relic detector???? Would you buy and what options would it need to have ??

I used fisher CZ5 that I purchased in 1993 and a cz70 that I got after they were released. Used them exclusively till 2017. Many great , deep finds !! To me they had an excellent audio . Very telling, descriptive. I sold them both , they were just to heavy to hunt all day with. Needed to get...

If Fisher would make a modern High end coin / relic detector???? Would you buy and what options would it need to have ??

I think Fisher is content with making low end , entry level types of detectors under the bounty hunter names. I wish they would surprise us with a modern CZ. $700-$1000 price tag would be doable for many.
