    Tried all of the "tips" on here and failed.

    So i switched on my se with factory reset settings and had a good day today finding a few small coins. I think its very easy to screw the perfomance up on a se - even slight malajustments hammer performance so beware. :ukflag:

    On dry farmland soil would i be correct in saying depth is crap

    I have been detecting on some dryish rolled soil and have found zippo! the ground is baked pretty dry though i was thinking this could be a factor why i am finding zippo.

    Another Pattern to try Good :OCustom pattern.

    I tried ths one out a few times and found it works ok on coin shooting farmland sites.

    Here's a custom pattern i have done ok with for coins on iron loaded sites.

    For medium to high conductive coins this pattern works a treat on iron infested sites. Coins will sound smooth and can be heard clearly. Set sensitivity to 21. Fast on. Limits 8. variability 8. Conductive sounds. Threshold tone 2.

    Explorer 4

    I know the Explorer Se has only been out a few months , but i have been pondering over just what features the Explorer 4 would have to have be better than the SE. I cant think of any really. Just 1 improvement i think would be fantastic, please minelab put the SE control box on a dfx shaped...
