    Token from a short cellar hole hunt...

    Hit a cellar hole for about an hour before the heat and the briers ran me out. Only dug two zinc canning jar lids and a good for Double Dutch Stogies token. Looks like I will be waiting till winter before trying this hole again.

    Sunday Park Hunt

    Warmed up some today so I hit some local parks. Did manage to pull one wheatie and my first dollar coin for the year. All the rest was clad. Good to get out.

    Sunny Sunday Finds

    Went out hunting with HighTone today. Just couldn't let a warm January day go to waste. It is only going to get colder. Got 3 wheaties...1942D, 1919P, and a 1919S. Little clad and the normal trash.

    First Hunt of the year...

    Warm January day so I hit my yard for a few hours. Only coin was a 1955 wheatie. My big surprise was a silver spoon. The hallmark on it is a owl with a "W" on it. Some kind of screw stopper thing with a pat. date of 1906. Says pat. in Russia, Germany, Australia, austria, and France. Not sure...

    Last hunt of the year!!!

    Went out today with HighTone and hit a cellar hole out in the woods. A few shotgun brass and two Jap 7.7mm brass. And finished the year out with a silver. 1905 Barber Quarter. Happy New year!!!

    Went hunting in the rain with ol' buddy HighTone. Hit a large country farm yard till we couldn't take the rain anymore. Got a 1900 indian, two 1910s, 1919, 1933, and a 1960 penny.

    Log Cabin Site Finds

    Spent the morning with HighTone hunting an old log cabin. Trash and iron everywhere and huge area to hunt. Managed to get a clad dime, 2 cents and 1 wheatie. Relic finds are a nice big buckle, little button, and a gas light valve. Some copper and iron scrap. And one piece I need help...

    Evening yard find.....SILVER

    Spend about an hour hunting a yard. Two silvers :clapping:....'64 Roise and a '42 war nickel. Matchbox tow truck, some keys, a button and the typical junk. One neat find is a Lum & Abner weather prophet.
