    Right on the surface

    Found a corroded old KG on the surface last night. Some soil had been moved to make a fix to a tote road. Chimed in nicely. Then I found a clad quarter below and to the side of a piece of iron. I like the Etrac's ability to see coins close to junk.

    got lucky yesterday

    New here. Found the site by mistake. Glad I did. It's great to see other finds. Here's yesterday in the woods. It's better to be lucky than good. 3 weeks with the Etrac, and so far so good, this was the first serious day I've been able to get out.
