    AT Gold question

    I am trying to decide on whether to buy an AT Pro or the Gold. One dealer says that the Gold is more sensitive to things like bullets and buttons. Greater sensitivity sounds great but I wonder what might be any downside(s) to the Gold. Thanks for any advice.

    Creekside and ocean ground balance problems

    Using the default programs in my DFX, which is the first detector for this newbie, I can't ground balance soil near a creek or wet sand at the ocean. The problem is the same with the 12" and DD 10" coils. Is this normal? How do I get around the problem? Thanks, BB
