    Something I was meaning to ask you. With the 550 I'm beginning to notice a strange performance. To locate a coin I use the pin point and locate the position as usual and move the coil towards me to centre the location on the top of the inner ring as usual.Never had a problem and works...

    Spent the day with Valerie.... 550

    Now Thats A Big Bullet .....

    Took the 550 for a walk today and had a surprise. A very large calibre round.I'm not aware of any elephants in the area:rofl: so I figure its army surplus.It was buried about 5" deep. Hope its a dud.:unsure:

    Relic Hunt With The 550..............

    Well,the ground is still covered in snow and as hard as rock so I went for a relic hunt in a near by wooded area. Grounds softer under the leaves. I was hunting in all metal mode just to be thankful I found anything. The first photo shows the condition of the items fresh out of my collection...

    Actually did get snow & ice...:cry:, not only that but the ground is as hard as 6"thick concrete..:rage:. The poor green fella is real bummed.:( and sits and stares at me:poke:
