    A little Silver and gold from a sanded in Jersey shore beach....

    I hunted in the Surf today.....It was a verrrrry light beach today..... A few pennies and dimes and a quarter or two....that sand is swallowing up the heavy stuff....I did however manage a couple of fresh dropped silver rings a spinner and a heart ring and heavy too.....The earring was 18k gold...

    Frequency of finds vs. Slow Economy.....

    Just wanted to pose a question to the folks on here.....Do you find that your finds are fewer this year? In other words are you noticing a lower quantity of common coin and jewelry finds? How about gold finds say compared to the last few years?....It's a big discussion topic amongst us...

    Silver Tues. in AC....

    ....I hunted the south end today and the beach was getting more and more sanded in with every high tide....I found a stretch that had a bit of a slope to it and sand was moved a bit and was harder than the surrounding wetsand....and my results reflected that combination....I dug this...
