The Eagle has landed, but it speaks French?

Got the E Trac today, fired it up and tried it out. Only had 10 minutes before a meeting at work. It is definitely gotta a new language from the Tesoros that I am used, but I think it has a sexy French woman's voice. I think I can listen to it for a long while... Now to work on my...

Ordering E Trac has caused a strange urge...

I am repetitively checking the UPS tracking site...no idea how many times I have looked at it. Is this normal? Jarrett

Should I jump into an E-Trac or not?

I am very near pulling the trigger to purchase an E-Trac or F-75. This is making for a very tough decision. I would be grateful if users of both machines could provide me with some opinions. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone with either machine to allow me to try them personally. I know...

Thanks to everyone for advising purchasing a 5.75 coil for my golden.

Worked a school tot lot for about 45 minutes this evening for a quick test of the new coil. Takes a little longer to work an area, but I can get closer to the playground equipment with out the time consuming "pause and move away" method. This coil also seems to hit on coins even harder than...

    Eyeball find today while MD

I didn't find any silver today, but I did eyeball this nice medicine bottle. I wish I was a better photographer... It reads: Dr.H.S. Thacher's Worm Syrup Chattanooga, Tenn. It appears to have been a lone bottle, nothing else this early was near it. It took a lot of water and shaking and gentle...

The golden struck silver again today!

I was fortunate enough to get this mercury dime today at the same spot I hunted yesterday. I also pulled two more wheats, 1956 and a 1910... I hope that means that a SLQ is in my future. I have yet to nail one of them. Thanks for looking, hopefully I can get another one tomorrow. BTW, look...

Golden umax makes for a silver lunch break

Got a quick lunch hunt in today and managed to get the coil over a little silver. Oddly enough the quarter was on the surface and the mercury was about 2" deep. I went back to the same area after work and managed one wheatie and a few pieces of clad... I'll be hitting it again tomorrow...

    silver slump broken

Finally found some silver today at an old baseball field. The '43 must not have seen much circulation, the '16 is a different story. The ring is marked as .925, going to take a little more cleaning to verify that... guess that means that the stone is CZ. Had a great time today and the weather...
