    lost my dime

    Was at a fresh water beach.Buried my dime about 8 inchs deep to see if my detector would find it. couldn't find it.Went home got a different detector still can't find my dime. I read were these detectors go so deep. Not mine

    I have 705 when I find a target and pinpoint it,it will say its 6inch deep but its near the top of ground why?
