    Tidal Islands/ Sand Bars

    My section of the harbor has an "island' on maps that appears at 1/4 tide and lower.     I was testing the pinpointing with the 11" coil. I pinpoint in one direction then turn it 90 degrees and pinpoint it again. It appears that dead-on is about a inch in front of where the pole enters. There's even a manufacturer's mark there, a small circle indent. Would someone confirm for me...
