    I have a good solution for the protection of our public schools against the murderers who are not obeying the laws anyway when they come to murder our children. Arming and training teachers and staff is not a good idea. More gun laws won

    saw this

    little fellar while fishing on Saturday way up in the mountains. About 75 pounds or less. Waited to see if momma was around but she never showed. Oh we caught a few fish to about two pounds, LM and SM bass.

    FIELD REPORT !!! VERNON is tearing it up today !!

    Wish I was with him, he's out fighting this heat for more old pieces of metal dropped in 1865. If the rain holds off, I'll be out with him tomorrow after work.

    digging with Vernon

    Played hookey from work for 1/2 a day and went digging with Vernon. After a nice double cheeseburger lunch we headed to a spot nearby that has produced yankee cavalry relics for me. Vernon has been stacking too much wood and overdeveloped his arms, he broke his shovel after only about an hour...

    my finds with Vernon last weekend

    Dug a variety of bullets and one lonely flower button with a Scovills Superfine backmark. Got one strange bullet, ought to been a Whitworth but its too short. Any ideas on this bullet ? Its one inch exactly, .45 caliber. Vernon and I will be harassing some fish in the James River this afternoon...
