    1844 large cent

I started detecting 8 years ago with my gti2500.Within the first 2 weeks of hunting,I found an 1844 large cent with it.I've always considered this precious coin as my best find.Problem is,I think it's gone. I'm thinking it got swept off the counter and into the coin jar, never to be seen again...

    Vaquero stem adjustment

When trying to adjust the length of the stem the cam rubs against the upper plastic stem scratching it very badly.Loosening the cam all the way doesn't help.Cosmetically,it looks pretty bad.Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Another BAD review

It seems that bill in canada isn't a happy camper when it comes to high quality products from Garrett.Check out his review on the gti2500 over at the metaldetectorreview site.He gave this awesome detector one out of five stars, saying that it was faulty and had terrible depth performance. I...

    GTI 2500

I've had this machine for 5 years now and I can honestly say that it's the best detector I've ever used.I have sampled most of the high end detectors from other brands like, white's,tesoro and minelab, but these machines didn't have the features of the gti. The sizing feature is an absolute must...

    Cibola: screw cap demon

I noticed the cibola really loves screw caps and I've dug a lot of them. This is a good lightweight machine, but working full time I have very little time to hunt, and certainly don't enjoy pulling these things out of the ground. The gti2500 (very good machine) doesn't have this problem,as it has...

    accuracy on the gti2500

Ive had my gti2500 for 6 months now,and I have never dug a pulltab, bottlecap, toy car or soda can smashed flat, however, I have found rings and coins. The monitor read:quarter size"B" at 8 inches. Sure enough, Idug down approx. 8 inches, and there it was....a quarter encrusted in patina. If you...

    A woman to assist you.

No detector on the market has voice activation to assist you;such as:target id,size and depth....except the gti2500.The voice thing helps me find valuable targets.

    I gotta tell ya..

I had to see for myself which machine was better...the gti2500 or the White'sDFX.The gti is more user friendly. The dfx has target id but it doesnt have target size.Iown both machines. The dfx is lighter and easier on your back, but the gti2500 is a quarter magnet. The gti is never wrong when it...

Size"B" only accurate to 8 inches

I've never seen size B at 10 inches on the gti2500.Thats because the people at Garrett said its only accurate to 8 inches. What if you get a quarter at 9 inches?
