    Battery connection,Excal

    Just got my Ecal and connecting the cable to the battery there is a small philips screw. The directions refer to it more as a guide screw. I tried to snug it down but it doesn't seem to. Is it only a guide and isn't suppose to snug down?

    Marking Info?

    Today I found a ladies gold ring with what looks like a nice size diamond. Instead of having a 10 or 14K there is a number 417. It looks like gold,sounds like gold and the meter reads 130 the same as other gold rings I've found. Anyone help me out on this.
