    Buying a new truck

    I've got a F 150 4x4 that needs a clutch and slave cylinder also . I'm gonna do it myself ,, might try and rent a trans jack ,, don't want to do enough trans work to buy a jack. I don't know why they won't make the slave cylinder last as long as the clutch. :rolleyes:

    I've got an 06 F250 5.4 with 318,000 miles ,, still running smooth ,, but am going to put in new cam chains, tensioners and get the heads ground and reseated with new lifter followers this summer ,, I hope . Also have a few other fords still kicking and a 2010 F150 Platinum with 180,000...

    Never heard of the fluid film either . You could also make a 50/50 mix of burnt motor oil and diesel fuel and spray it on your frame ,, maybe even heavier on the oil couldnt hurt either. I also do this on my wood trailer bed to repel moisture .

    I'm with Old Longhair ,, build your own shaft ,, you could probably do like said ,, chest mount the box , and build the shaft from pvc . It's worth a shot .

    I'm with ya GaryB ,,, they could print and supply the manual cheaper than we could because of mass production . And if you're like me ,, I can't get the printer to work when I need it .
