    Troy Shadow X2 Super 7

    I picked up a Troy Super 7" coil from eBay. It came today. It looks great, I can't wait to try it out on my Eldorado and my Cortes! For what it's worth, I air tested this coil on both my detectors. It showed the same air depth on a clad dime as the factory 9X8 coils. My Cortes shows about 2"...

    Can the coil bolt / nut effect performance?

    My Eldorado had the wrong size coil bolt on it. It was a 8-32 which is one size too small. I picked up a replacement stainless 10-32 bolt and a nice knurled brass nut. Everything fits and works like it should but I'm worried that chunk of brass (the nut) sitting right above the coil might effect...
