    Fisher F70 and rusty bottlecaps?

How's the F-70 do on rusty bottle caps? Does it do pretty good at discriminating them out or does it scream out quarter on them? In my ground conditions I have to use DD coils due to the ground minerals. I know concentric coils are better at discing them out but they don't get very good depth...

Teknetics Omega and Garrett AT-Pro/Gold performance?

Hey guys and gals I currently use a AT-Gold and I love the performance of the machine. I have well over 250 hours on it and know it like the back of my hand. I have used it for so long I am kinda bored with it even though it produces better than any machine I've tried. Prior to this machine I...

AT-Gold users give me some info.

I'm curious as to what the deepest coin you've found and what the soil conditions were as far as mineralization. I've got some bad mineralization where I live in north Georgia and the deepest coin I've dug was a silver washington at around 9-10".

John-Edmonton stop leaving evidence behind!! :ranting:

I had been wondering who has been hitting the parks here in Georgia and not leaving much for me to find, then today I found the evidence I needed to confirm who it's been. When I found it John was the first person that came to mind. :poke: Just messing with you John!!

I am wondering if any has tried that flex seal as a coating on their coils? It comes in a variety of colors now and has sparked my interest.

    F-75 Standard question

Can any of you guys that have used this machine tell me how it does in mineralized soil? I'm thinking about buying one but was worried it wouldn't handle my red Georgia clay soil.

Which frequency for medium to high ground minerals?

I'm trying to figure out what frequency a VLF machine needs to be to get the best depth in bad ground. Can someone help me with this question? I know PI machines are best in bad ground but you dig a ton of trash and I don't want no part of that.

Coil shopping for my son a coil for his Ace 250?

He's been using the stock coil and has done pretty well with it but he's interested in the 5x8" DD coil. Can someone who's used both chime in and tell me what you guys think of the performance differences between both. I live in Georgia so our soil is medium to highly mineralized in areas...

    AT Series Coil Covers:thumbdown:

I am constantly cracking or chipping these covers I have bought 5-6 in the past 2 years I wish they were thicker and a little more indestructible. When hunting the woods rocks have a uncanny ability to hide in the leaves and that's why I'm having this trouble. Has anyone used the plasti dip...

NEL Sharp 5" coil on AT-Gold anyone using this combo?

I am getting one of these and I'm hoping it will give me a little better target separation over the 5x8" coil in some of the nail infested house sites I hunt at. If you've used one tell me what your experience has been using this setup. Thanks Morgan

10x12 Tesoro Umax widescan coil question.

Guys I have medium to heavy mineralized soil. Has anyone used this widescan coil on a big box Bandido II? If so how did it perform I am looking at using it mainly for relic hunting. I have the 10 1/2" concentric coil and use it but if the widescan would get me more depth I may end up getting...

    Prayers needed for my dad!

He's got cancer and it's not looking good. I lost my mother to cancer when I was 9 and that was roughest thing I ever went through. I just pray to God that he goes peacefully and doesn't have to suffer. Thanks and God Bless you all! Morgan

What's your favorite Tesoro and why?

Thought I'd ask this to kind of get a idea of which Tesoro has the biggest following. My favorite is my Sidewinder it gets pretty good depth and it likes gold jewelry and coins.
  18. 88junior

    Why don't Tesoro do this?

I think they ought to make the machines that's available for the European market available for purchase in the states I would love to give a few of them a try. Is there a reason for them not to do this?

Fisher ID Excel is a sweet machine!

I have got to say I think this machine is sweet it hits every target in my test bed the deepest being a 9" 69 caliber CW bullet. I love the tones and the simplicity of it and it's like swinging a feather. I'm amazed thus far with it and I hope to get out soon for a real world hunt with it. I...
