    hunting silver. Which machine/coil?

    i have 305. stock 7khz coil. the 305 only has 2 tid segments/tones for the high range, so cannot split copper and silver coins. i was thinkin of 705 with 3khz coil, would this give better differentiation between silver and copper coins to reduce diggin in parks?

    havin serious doubts bout 305 and gold

    hav detected a few virgin tot lots recently and found hundreds of coins but very little gold. anybody havin any gold success with this machine ? i have stock 9 in 7.5k coil. i read on internet someone could get no signal at all on a platinum ring.

    305 hits ice..maybe

    swinging away today and hit a tid 32. dig it out pops a white ring engagement style with one large sparkler and 3 small stones on either side, get it home and no hallmark AGAIN. a very small ring weight 2.7 gram. very disapointed thought it was the real deal. theres a lot of cz junk out there.
