    2007 Buyer's Guide

    There does not seem to by many references to the 8.5 and 12.5 inch non imaging coils. eg 8.5 inch crossfire 2. I'm wondering if Garrett is thinking of dropping them in favour of the Proformance coils. I have an 8.5 crossfire 2 for my GTP 1350, its a nice light coil to swing.

    Clean sweep

    Hello, I use a clean sweep on my silver umax mainly in parks and sports ovals. Would an upgrade of my silver umax to a tesoro with ground balancing like a used Eldorado get any more depth out of my clean sweep. Thanks billm :ausflag:

    Ironstone surprise

    I was detecting at Hill End Australia today,digging the usual old nails when I got a another strong signal. Took a few minuets to get it out of the hole to find a lump of ironstone.     Hello John, I have noticed you use your Ace with the 4.5 inch sniper coil and the 1350 GTI with larger coils. Does the Ace have an advantage with the sniper over the 1350 GTI with a sniper. What makes a good sniper setup. I own the 1350 GTI. Thanks billm :ausflag::garrett:
