    Looking in to getting a new water detector and was looking a the Whites BHID. Can you get the BHID with the Super 12 Spider coil. If so how well does it work and where can you get them?

    Replacing coil on 1280X

    I was wondering if I could replace the 8" coil I now have on my Fisher 1280X with a 1200 series Fisher coil? Fisher wants $250.00 for the coil alone and $50.00 an hour labor just alittle to steep for me.

    I have a 1280X that is very old, Serial Number in the 12,000s. My question is can I take a 10.5 inch 1200 series Fisher coil and use it to replace my 8 inch coil and if so is there any retuning needed?
