    Minelab Excal 1000 (Blue)

    Hi all. Been a while. I have a question. My son has a Blue Excal. 1000 he no longer needs. It is in very good working condition. Original box and shaft as well as a home made straight shaft. We would like to know what would be a fair price to ask for it. Thanks.

    New Excal II turn's Silver than to PAIN

    Took the new Excal II with 10in coil out for its first voyage to the beach. Had a great time, and found some clad and nice little silver bracelet. Than came the PAIN, I was hit by a sting ray for the 2nd time in 7 months. This sting is only about 1 1/2" away from the sting in got in October...

    Excalibur II Problems?

    I have been reading some threads about the Excal II. A few say there knobs are coming off. I would think Minelab would have fixed this problem. I have a Excal 1000 and have had no problems. I am thinking about buying a new Excal. II 1000 and give my old one to my son. I would like to here...

    Excal and stress cracks

    I just purchased a used Excal 1000. I noticed some small stress cracks around a couple of the holes were the control unit mounts to the shaft. The person I bought it from did have it mounted on a straight shaft. Is this something that I should be worried about? Thanks
