    anybody in davis, ca or sacramento, ca want to take a couple newbies out for a lesson?

    we have the ACE 250 and just keep it on all metal mode and so far have found a few dimes, nickels, pennies in the park (along with the tin foil from cigarette packs) we also took it up to coloma with a little luck. anyway..if any of you are going out soon, let us know, we'd love to go out with...

    ace 250 strikes gold (i think)

    so we went up to Coloma again. this time we took the Ace 250. instead of hanging out in the river all day panning, we ventured away from the river...to where the dry riverbed used to be...little higher. i had it on all metal mode and about 4 or 5 bars...and it beeped in the "gold-silver" range...
