    I'm a 'buy-pass', diababetic guy that's 65. Had no trouble swinging the 18", but it wouldn't function at all, ie. identification, ground balance, etc. hava grate forth

    Thanks for the input.. I'll giive it a try. I sent back the 18" sef, it wouldn't function on my Spectra V3. JW told me to try the 12" 'cause you have had such good luck with it. Sent back the 18 and should get the 12 tomorrow. Hava grate forth.

    Larry, JW at Kellyco told me to ask you if you had any suggestions for settings on Spectra V3 for using the Excelerator 12" sef coil. Any help would be really appreciated...Just sold my DFX and bought the Spectra V3. I'm Trying the sef coil out. Thanks a lot and hava grate dey.... Paul (oldstuf)

    Couldn't ground balance well. Read nickle as a quarter. Not sure I trust it. What about the new 'butterfly' Detech 15x18 sef?

    Has anyone had any experience using the new 'butterfly 15x18 excelerator sef coil with the Spectra V? Or has anyone tried using a DFX 'bigfoot' coil with the new Spectra V? I have a bigfoot that I kept when I sold my DFX 300 to get the new Spectra. My son hunts circles around me with his DFX...
