    Excal 1000 settings

    Ok, I had my Excal all set up and my kids got to it and reset all my settings:ranting:.....I have no idea where they were...What are the best settings for the Excal for beach hunting. Thanks. This time I will write them down I promise 8)

    Excal Modifications

    I just got off the phone with Minelab and they no longer do modifications for the general public. I need, or would like to, eliminate the Disc/Pinpoint switch and relocate it as a push button on the handle. Can this be done? And is there anyone out there qualified to do this? Thanks!! Chuck

    Excalibur Battery Pod Question

    I have an excalibur with a dead battery pod. It only sees dry sand and water to my knees, so it getting wet is not an issue. Question how can I open the pod to install a newly built NiMh battery? Thanks, Chuck
