    Does anyone know which older model Tesoro metal detectors can be super- tuned?there seems to be a lot of confusion on this.Is this something only a tesoro does?.I have not seen a other brand detector with threshold tuning like this?.

    NIMH-AA-1.2v-Batteries Are Not Adding Up

    I have done the voltage test myself,It would require 10 NIMH-recharge-ables @ 1.2v to = the required 12volts for 12volt detectors.

    What Does VCO Term Mean?

    I have looked in the tesoro MDI glossary of terms and can not find it.Myself i think it means as you get the coil closer to the target the output frequency changes to a higher level,pitch?.I just what the VCO word defined.Thanks in advance.

    More Tejon Targets( Better batteries)

    After finding out that the AA nimh batteries only coming in 1.2vdc the charge and amp load was not good enough for the Tejon,1.2vx8v=9.6vdc,i used the Tejon with this battery type and it did not preform well.I changed to Alkalines this weekend and so did my luck.

    After finding out that 1.2nimh rechargeables would not work good i changed to alkaline and my luck changed to.Watch out for rechargeables the AA nimh will only charge to 1.2vx8v=9.6v the Tejon will not run right at this dc volt and amp level.
