Founds a small herd of Buffs this morning... :)

I ran into this little herd of Buffalos this morning diving at a local lake. This is a pretty cool spot. These 1920's coins, as well as the 1890's barber I found here last year, were pretty much sitting on the surface. The bottom is a hard rocky clay that simply doesn't let things sink. Just...

    A little BIG silver today...

Three of us hit a recently demolished house today North of Seattle. We all walked away with some silver, one merc, one Indian, and I found this little baby. :D There was lots of trash, but I was using my Explorer II with the SunRay x-5 mini-coil. That thing could cut through a hey stack of...

Had 15 hours to MD in Europe... I'm spoiled! :clapping:

Hi All! I was on business for a week and a half in Europe recently and took my Explorer II in the hopes of getting a little ground time. It was tough! Short wet days and meetings during the few daylight hours really limited my time. I got about 15 hours total in two fields that had been...

    A few recent finds - $0.71

Here are a couple nice ones I scraped out recently. All were Explorer II finds. The Franklin was at six inches, ankle deep in water, and under lots of nails and glass. The X-1 was really helpful in pick it out. The others were all from sidewalk repair jobs. Love those sidewalks! It's like...

Can an X-1 probe be put on an Excalibur for Scuba?

Hi, Due to a broken wire I'm going to have to do some work on my coil. I figure now may be a good time to to look into some other modifications I've always wanted to do. I'd like to modify it so that I can make both the coil and headphones exchangeable. I'm thinking I need to splice in water...

So who's a fan of Hooka?

I do a lot of shallow lake diving, 5-10 feet and I use SCUBA with an aluminium 80. At that depth I can spend between 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the level of exertion. $5 a fill adds up over time! So how about a hooka? Do people like these? I usually dive in areas with little underwater...

HELP! Broken wire at the coil/wire connection

I know, I know. This has probably been posted a 1000 times but I need to ask it since this is the first time I've experienced it. I've got a broken wire, I'm sure of it, and I'd like to know if there's any way to fix it without sending it off to Minelab. Here are the details... The machine is...

    Todays Silvers...

Went to the lake to burn a tank. Pulled a pocket of clad and two Mercs, 1944s and 1936s. The broken bracelet is actually kinda pretty although the pic doesn't show it well. HH SeattleALE
