    Problems with sunray???

    penny?

    I found this penny wrapped in a waxy paper it's a silver color no copper at all, 1982 no mint mint mark and not a scratch on it. hope you can tell me what it is. the one on the left is a regular penny the one on the right is as silver as a dime.:confused:

    What is it

    I found this penny wrapped in a waxy paper about 1" deep it is silver in color 1982 no mint mark in great shape there is no copper showing at all. Does any one have an idea what it is? this is the second strange coin I found, see troy ounce .999. :confused:

    had my best day since I stared metal detecting three weeks ago. read everything I could get my hands on including the edge. a lot of PT. and nails, a good amount of clad and than this the coin on the right says troy ounce .999 fine silver, as you can see nothing old yet. I'm working on...
