Just curious whether the 6" Nox 800 coil would work on the Manticore, or whether plugging it in would damage the detector or the coil?
If it worked from an electrical standpoint, I think it would be relatively easy to fabricate an adaptor for the coil lugs...

I haven't tried it personally but have been told it won't work.

Thanks...I am thinking it won't either, but just wondered if anybody knew for sure...

Wont work with either stock standard EQ6 or CTX3030 6
Manticore shuts down.
No damage to Manticore

Thanks,that's much appreciated...I never really used the EQ6 a huge amount, but sometimes it was the only coil that was practical, in certain situations and it's a shame the Manticore does not have that option....
