Found a silver ring the other day with the Equinox 800, but it gave me a strange reading. I almost walked away from it.

Congrats on the Claddagh ring, a sweet find for sure. What signal did it give ? If I had to guess I would say a 21 or 22. Mark
Nice find the nox is a great detector!

The reading on it was scratchy 21-23. I was thinking bottle cap and was going to walk away
Bottle cap and walk away.
I wondering how many rings you left behind.

Nice ring

After learning a new detector.
I've realized I left a lot of gold jewelry behind on a never before detected private beach summer cabins rental property from the 20'$.

What part of the world you in not frozen ?

I find that silver gives a totally different signal to just about anything else on my 800. A £1 and £2 coin and some fishing weights read between 21-23 so I would dig it anyway.
