I bought my Legend a while ago and it had the 1.07 update on it. I have found quite a bit with it but was never really impressed with the depth, great detector around tot lots and parks for shallow targets using the 1.07 version. I had someone help me down load the new 1.17 version and I think it’s great. Ran some tests in my garden and hit a quarter at 14”, dime at 12” and other targets at good depths, like having a new detector, just have to learn the new functions.
 
That is excellent performance results. I can just barely catch a 12” Quarter using the LG28 coil.

I have mine for 2 seasons and am impressed more with it all the time
