Just a thought....
If you aren't tight on money, it might be prudent to keep some of that gold around. There might come a time when you need that physical gold or silver to barter with.
At least, that's what I'm doing. Worst that can happen is my kids inherit my collection when I die and that doesn't make me unhappy.
 
I do alot of investing in the markets, and its mostly metals mining stocks. I follow a bunch of market folks smarter than I, and they feel gold and silver have at least a 1-3 year run ahead. They study market cycles, and the 8 year gold cycle has a few years to go. Currently the big buyers in this country are buying much gold from the London metals exchange and shipping it here. London is almost out. Something unforeseen to us is coming down the pipe. Last time we emptied London was a few months before covid hit. I'm not in a hurry to sell my gold and silver at this time.
Currently the retail buyers in the USA are absent from buying.
