More gold another class ring 1948 and a V nickel

I had a short hunt yesterday afternoon same spot and I was trying to locate the emblem that fell off the first class ring I found which I did it was at the hole where I dug it.
I used my D2 I got a worn V nickel and lots of old worn down copper pennies and I went towards the shoreline to work in the rocks got a 50-55 signal on the D2 and another gold class ring! This ones dates 1948 it’s tough digging and getting in between the rocks but if golds is there I won’t stop thanks for looking
Ground is still frozen here but that’s ok!

No I’m in eastern Ct froze up tight except the beaches so I’m out looking for new spots not too far from home

Great hunt Mark!
I love finding those old class rings & you got seated checked off already for the year.
That is quite a 1 - 2 punch with the Manticore and D2.
I am in hibernation mode right now. Temp is -14 right now with a good 1/2 foot of snow on the ground.

Thanks Dave I don't envy where you live Id go nuts if I could not detect all year I love the beaches I've
been parking finding access then walking the whole shoreline at low tide where no one has detected.

Mark kus you are on fire. Congrats. Two class rings in two outings, Unheard of around here. Still looking for the first. Keep pounding them shore lines, maybe a gold coin will pop up. Good luck. Mark
 
Class ring...likely too old to chase owner, but were there any initials or engraved name?

Yes on one N EJ on the 1938 ring got another Hartford High school today 14k first good finds thanks for on the beach!
