Not sure what it is ??? If it was gold ore, If I had them means to crush and extract the ore, yes.

I'd also try and find more if it was gold ore !!!!! :) :) :) :) :)

Some uranium ore. Hit it with a UV light.
See if it glows in the dark.
If it is. In it's natural form it's not deadly.
The dust. Don't breathe it. That can be dangerous.
What state did you find it ?
I'm just trying to point out. If you're prospecting for mineralized rocks for gold and such.
Especially in areas of known radioactive ore mines.
And their all over the south west. Virginia, SE USA.
Midwest. I would have one of these inexpensive guiger counters to CK the rocks before crushing.
With natural ores. Breathing the dust is what's
the most dangerous.
The Radiocode is an excellent unit.
Shows all radio isotopes in anything. Love mine.
