Quick stop at a yard sale leads to permission and silver!

Well, I’ve been driving by this home for years and always wanted to detect it. It was empty for a long time and I had noticed that there was a garage sale there so I stopped on my way home and started talking with the owner. Bought a fishing lure from, would you mind if I detect the yard? he said sure it’s been detected before I just said thank you and when on my way first fine was an 1863 fatty Indian.
All my finds were on the sides of the home and back yard I got an earring, a small thimble, two mercury dimes and three Roosevelts a pocket watch part I was there for about an hour and a half so if you see a house and people are outside, don’t be afraid try asking for permission you might be surprised and they’ll let you.
