Andy’s Book

Read the manual , study the machine not someone's book , don't waste your money.
As Odanscoils would say, “Eggzactly” lol

How long until Andy Sabisch book on the Core is for sale? Are his books typically out before or after the detector is actually released? Thanks
Core?---Nokta Makro has a detector named the CoRe.---This new Minelab is named the Manticore.------As to your question about Andys books----IF he does write a book about the Manticore it will come out considerably later AFTER the debut of the Manticore.-----That's "typically" the way it's been with his other books.

That makes as much sense as saying "read the manual ... dont read forum posts ... a waste of time".
The manual covers the basics but there is always something new discovered by users.

You must be a Sabitch sycophant ;)Reading forum posts is probably a step up from the books , I'm sure the bulk of the Mcore book was written as soon as ML put the manual on line.:)

Wish they would give us a PRINTED manual (with the detector) so we could read it! :)

Do Like I did if you want a manual. I downloaded the file to Staples and had them do me a clear cover, binder, semi gloss pages. Cost me $15 with tax

It's crazy and inconsiderate to have to print any manual , especially if you spend hundreds of dollars. Sergei's write ups are better than anything Andy ever put out. Anyone can add a couple of paragraphs to what the manual says and call it an "expert" version , even Clyde includes some useful tips. A bunch of pics of what people have found and where they found them is not much of an educational experience but there's one born every minute.

I posted this before but with the new environmental awareness in industry there are very little manuals being printed anymore. This also allows them to be updated all the time

Printing user manuals is expensive and then there is the logistics of packing them in with the detector. Online offers two advantages.
Lower cost and instant updating with new information.
I understand this but still would rather have a hard copy manual to refer to.

You can make all the excuses for no printed manuals you want but what it really boils down is just cheap ML corporate a$$es!

OK, Boomer (just mocking what my children say to me!)

It depends. I suggest a cover to cover manual read, at least twice. But the 3030. I really found taking using the machine to the next level came after reading Andys book. And. Gary Draytons book. Especially Garys. There are setting he reveals in his book that really really tune that machine for beach hunting.

It is lazy and cheap and really cringe Minelab decided not to include manufactured charging accessories and ... THE MANUAL. I can understand that it leaves room to update the manual after a software update. But lets be honest, it is unlikely that the manual will change much. The core of it will remain the same. 14 bucks now online. After I just spend 1600.

What language would like the manual printed in, have you looked at the screen saver selections LOL It has little to do with saving paper or being cheap as the cost would be added to the purchase price of the unit. JMO Jeff
