My most interesting find to date

This is my most interesting find to date. I am working my first permission a 1925 house that was built by the sons of the man that owned the land and had a house on the other end of the property about a 1/2 mile away. The father purchased the land in the 1870's and farmed it until his son's built the house in 1925 as a small store for the area. Along with this I found 12 clad and copper memorials, one clad nickle, 2 clad quarters and a Chinese knock off of the hot wheels #18 the 1991 champion. This from what I have found is a good luck charm from the early to mid 1900's.

That tag is a ID tag that were sold at the bus station, that is where I seen them. back in the 60s the bus station had a machine for 10 cents you could print on out, 2 levers on it and a dial that showed the different letters or numbers and when you got the one you wanted you pulled the one lever and it printed that letter on the disc. when you got it all the way you wanted it you pulled the lever on the other side of the Machine and out it comes.
They were used a lot as a token with 2 sweet harts made to show their love for one another. Some I have found had the complete name and address on them to use as a key chain so if you lost your keys someone that find it would return them.
They were aluminum so those we find in the ground are sometimes rough shape. Don't know when they started making them or when the quit.
These were neat personal finds that you can return if you can find the owner if you can find them.

Ok, found out it is from Geneva-on-the Lake, A beach/summer resort on the shore of Lake Erie. It was established back in 1840's thought wasn't known by that name until around the 1920's or so. It is a small beach area east of Cleveland, Ohio. I was also back at the permission and found 2 more interesting finds, I will post them in a day or two.

Man that's cool. We don't live far from there.
Drive thru everytime I go to pickup my grandson.
Love the hotdog stand they have their.
Amazing amount of stuff to do and eat there.
On a strip of road about a mile long.
Many people come and stay the summer.
Bunch of rentals around there.

I used to live up nearer there than I do now. I lived just south of Sandusky.

Spot on reply...I don't know if it is good or bad to say so, but I made one of those when I was s Kid. I think it was at the Chicago Museum of Arts and Science

If there is a farm field on the property, it might also be worth hunting.

The house built in 1925 is farm field, or was in the 1870 through to the building of the house in 1925. Not much found that you would expect for an old field. But I still have the larger front yard to do. I've only been able to get around the house itself and two shade trees in the side and front yard. Leaving the front until we get more rain. I'm wanting to avoid brown patches which are more likely when you have drought conditions. The rest of the original property is part of a town which was established in the 1940's so the rest of the approximately 20 acres is no longer available without getting around 50-60 different permissions.

Man I loved the science museum.
Spent a lot of time there back in the 70's.
Terrible last time I checked it out.
Many exhibits in disarray or missing parts.
Trains weren't running. Loved the train display.
Many homeless go in to escape Chicago's Winter.
